My first campaign was delightful and adventurous working with the local community including around 40 young children of Cape Coast. The children were very keen to learn about oral hygiene and took the opportunity to show me their technique after I had taught them which confirmed they had understood what I was teaching them. I left there very impressed and looking forward to my next campaign.

Visiting children at the Ministries Orphanage in Accra. The children here were humble and very happy and appreciated everything I taught and brought them. They were living in good conditions. Many children went to ……………. Family so I spoke to around 70 of them. The children understood the importance of not using hard surface toothbrushes.

Caring for the disabled and less privileged. No children were present but I spoke to the owner of the trust, Mary, who has been running the organisation for more than 10 years. She decided to open the trust as her own daughter was also born with special needs. Mary wanted other parents to understand that disabled children have a right to enjoy their free time after school so Day Care is a place for children to communicate with each other and build up their social and learning skills despite their disabilities.
